Supported Employment Program

Employment can be an important part of wellness, independence, and recovery. Arundel Lodge’s Supported Employment Program helps adults identify, obtain, and maintain meaningful, competitive employment based on their interests, strengths, and goals.

Our Employment Specialists work closely with each person to explore job interests, build a professional resume, connect with employment opportunities, and provide ongoing support throughout the process. Staff also collaborate with local businesses to support clear communication, positive working relationships, and long term success for both employees and employers.

How the Program Works

After intake, participants begin working with an Employment Specialist to discuss work history, interests, strengths, and employment goals. Together, they develop an individualized employment plan and begin exploring job opportunities in the community.

Participants may also be connected with the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) and the Workforce & Technology Center (WTC) for additional employment-related support. Employment Specialists continue to provide support after job placement to help participants maintain employment and feel confident in the workplace.
